Fans are not impressed with Cam Newton's new photo with his child.

On Wednesday, the North Carolina Panthers player added a picture on Instagram where he's outside with his four-month-old son, Chosen. There also happens to be a girl in the photo looking at the baby with a big smile on her face.

But what's setting the followers off is the fact that Newton is holding his child while standing on a hoverboard.

One comment reads, "That's very risky to be on that hover board holding get your child" while another says, "I'm worried about the baby safety and everybody on here worried about those ugly a-s uggs."

Based on that previous comment, a lot of people don't seem into Newton's shoes in the pic.

"He's wearing uggs...," someone wrote. Another comment says, "alert alert cam newton is wearing uggs."

Newton has received his share of criticism before when he and his girlfriend Kia Proctor had a child without getting married. In a report from The Charlotte Observer, people were pretty harsh on this decision.

"So the man whom we celebrate, and with good reason, has produced a son. Congratulations would be in order if he had been man enough to marry the mother of his child and make a home. This happy occasion is blighted when Cam, whose own parents were married, skips the very basis of being a good parent," one critic wrote.

Another said, "Cam is a role model to many of our young males, both white and black. The least that he and his longtime girlfriend could have done is to get married prior to giving birth to show his followers that not only is he a superstar, but also a person with high morals."
