Following Miley Cyrus, another former Disney starlet will join Two and a Half Men as a guest star when Hilary Duff appears on the show as a drunken character determined to win Ashton Kutcher's affection, according to E!Online.

The 25-year-old singer and star of film and TV, who began on the Disney channel's Lizzie Maguire, confirmed that she would appear on the show by taking to Twitter.

"So excited to be joining the cast of @TwoHalfMen_CBS this week! I get to play a crazy drunk girl, funnnn!!!" Duff tweeted on Tuesday afternoon.

According to reports, Duff will play Stacey, a single mother and possible love interest of Kutcher. Duff's character becomes embroiled in an unusual love triangle when Kutcher's character takes a keen interest in Stacey's grandmother who is played by Marilu Henner of Taxi fame.

The rumored flirtation between Kutcher, 35, and Henner, 60, is not the first Two and a Half Men have broached an age gap between possible lovers.

When 20-year-old pop star Cyrus appeared on the show she entertained the idea of dating Kutcher before making her move on Angus T. Jones, the show's youngest cast member at 19 years old.

Duff is a new mother herself after giving birth to her first child, Luca Cruz Comrie, last year. Duff began dating the father of her child and NHL hockey player Mike Comrie in 2007 before they wed in 2010.

Widely recognized for her singing and acting talents, Duff has also branched into various industries including the creation of her own clothing lines, signing on as an IMG model, releasing her own perfume collections and penning a series of young adult novels.
