Can the public expect another child for Fergie and Josh Duhamel?

According to Friday's report from In Touch, the pop star and her actor husband are "definitely trying for another baby." An insider also reportedly revealed that Fergie is hoping they'll have a girl.

The two are already parents to their son, Axl, 2.

At this point, it's unclear on what the couple has planned for how they want to have their second child, but they have a couple options.

"Either she'll get pregnant the old-fashioned way or they'll use a surrogate," the source said. "Josh is fine with either option."

Fergie has admitted in the past that she and her husband would love to have another baby someday once things settle down a bit in their lives.

"After the album and the tour, we would love to have another child," she said in a report from E! News. "Absolutely."

She also revealed why she'd be happy to have a daughter this time.

"My gosh, it would be amazing to give my little girl her own fragrance collection done by Mommy," Fergie said. "Wow, that would be special, hashtagged blessed."

Duhamel previously opened up with AOL about the possibility of putting his son in show business. He doesn't seem too against the idea, but he wants Axl to enjoy his childhood before stepping into that zone.

"I don't know about [putting him in show business]," Duhamel. "I'm going to hold off on that for as long as possible. I want him to have a good education and a normal childhood first and if he wants to do it down the road he can, but we're not pushing him towards that."

Fergie and Duhamel have been married for seven years now.
