On Wednesday, a day before the secrets are revealed during April 4th's mysterious "Facebook Home" unveiling, alleged screenshots were leaked out to tech news sites.

From the photos leaked online, it appears that Facebook Home revolves around a minimalist approach which prioritizes full-screen photography. The design, as would be expected, is clean and sleek.

The screenshots, which were obtained by 9to5Google, provide a peak into what the notifications on the home screen will look like.

The belief is that an image or wallpaper would span a smartphone user's full display screen with notifications appearing in the center.

Users would also receive alerts when Facebook friends check in to specific place, with notifications landing as unassuming text atop the screen.

The device's applications menu would also receive heavy doses of Facebook integration, going by the leaked images.

Images appear to be capable of being shared directly to Facebook Messenger, Google+, Instagram, Picasa, SMS text messaging and Twitter.

In addition, the images imply users have access to a toolbar above the app screen which allow users to quickly create check-ins, status updates and photo uploads.

Rumors of Facebook producing its own smartphone have been percolating for several years but tech insiders say that Facebook Home will provide industry leaders with a clearer image of what the social media giant's mobile plans my include.

Other images have emerged of Facebook-related wireless technology, such as the images leaked on Wednesday by Twitter user @evleaks revealed the HTC First phone. If the rumor is authentic, it will run the Facebook Android launcher which was the subject of rumors this week.

The HTC First, also referred to as the Myst, is rumored to boast a dual-core Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8960 processer and 1GB of RAM as well as a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 1.6-megapixel front-facing camera to go along with a 4.3 inch display. The mid-range phone, in terms of specifications, is said to come with Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2 and would come available in black, red, blue or white casings.
