It's still unclear if there's a future for Nashville at this point.

But are the chances for a renewal great or terrible right now? Even though nothing is official yet, it looks like the odds for a renewal are pretty good!

In Tuesday's report from TV By The Numbers, it was revealed that the series is at a 0.96 in the 18-49 rating and a 0.72 in the renew/cancel index. This lines the show up in the 'likely to be renewed by May 2016' category.

This gives some hope, but no one should get too excited until the news becomes a for sure thing.

As for other shows on ABC that also stand good chances for a renewal, this includes Castle, American Crime and The Real O'Neals. Shows that have already been renewed include Quantico, The Middle, Grey's Anatomy, Agents of SHIELD, Black-Ish and several more.

So what about the series' that are more likely to meet their fate later this month? The ones that could easily get canceled include The Family, Galavant and The Catch.

And unfortunately, Of Kings and Prophets, Wicked City and Blood & Oil have already been canceled.

The remaining episodes of Nashville have had plenty of crazy storylines and fans can expect more to come. Aubrey Peeples, who plays Layla, recently spoke to ABC on what's going down for her character, which blends her personal and professional life.

"Layla's music career is starting to take off. She has a lot more music coming out, I got to sing a lot more songs this season so I think that things are looking up in her musical career," Peeples said. "But in her personal life, lots of drama is still going to happen before the end of the season."

Nashville airs on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
