Porsha Stewart made her first official appearance since her estranged husband NFL star Kordell Stewart filed for divorce on March 22. The Real Housewives of Atlanta reality tv actress attended the Bravo Upronts party in New York City, where she told reporters that her family is going through a difficult time.

"When you have strong arms and strong family around you, they cover you -- that's what they're there for," she said, according to Us Weekly. "So that's who I'm leaning on."

Porsha thanked her fans for their support. "And it's really a blessing to see people, supporters and fans are standing up and just really showing me the love."

The annual Bravo event announced the network's upcoming programming including castmate Phaedra Parks' new show Rich People's Problems. It follows Parks' life as a wealthy attorney.

Porsha was pictured not wearing her wedding ring and looked beautiful in a green tight-fitted dress.

Kim Zolciak, former Housewives of Altanta, was also in attendance and offered her opinions on Porsha's divorce. "I would never wish divorce upon my worst enemy.  If your marriage is not sound and strong, I do think there are problems. . . I definitely would not expose myself on television if [husband Kroy Biermann and I] were not in a really great place," she said.

Enstars reported last week that Porsha filed a legal response to her estranged husband's divorce, claiming for alimony and additional relief.

Kordell Stewart Gay Rumors Led Him to Quit the NFL? Reason for Porsha Stewart Divorce Filing?

Listed in the court documents, the reality tv star and former evangelist said she sold her business to help raise Kordell's son, Syre, and that the decision to do so full-time decreased her personal earnings significantly.

Porsha's representative told Yahoo that the reality star was disappointed about Kordell's filing for divorce. "Mrs. Stewart had held off on filing for a divorce herself and remained committed to the marriage because Mr. Stewart promised to work on the marriage with her," her rep. said.
