Welcome back to Instagram, McKayla Maroney.

The gymnast, who's made a reputation for herself on social media with sultry selfies, hasn't posted since Easter time. But on Tuesday, she added a new picture where she is back online and still showing off her skin.

In a low-cut top, Maroney shows a hint of a bra strap as she lets her hair down and purses her lips. In the caption, she wrote that she "accidentally let the freckle count get too high."

Before this picture was posted, Maroney posted a photo of herself with her mom where she wished her a Happy Mother's Day.

While she's famous on Instagram, some might forget that Maroney is also a gymnast. But based on a report from uInterview, the gold medal winner gave the impression that she's taking a break from the beam and bars to focus on some other academics. Considering that she has a life outside of this particular area, she can use this time to find a different part of herself that doesn't solely consist of gymnastics.

"The reason why I wanted to go to this next Olympics-I finally figured it out. I wanted to show people that when everyone else is up against them, they can get through the struggle and the pain and do it because they love something," she explained. "One day I was sitting outside and I was like, 'Why am I doing this?' Yeah, it's cool that I want to do it and help inspire people, but I didn't know how to be okay with not being a gymnast."
