An EgyptAir plane flying from Paris, France to Cairo, Egypt has gone missing and reportedly crashed, leaving many wondering what could have been the cause.
The EgyptAir plane disappeared from radar early Thursday and ultimately crashed, according to French President Francois Hollande, speaking at a news conference. It was reported that 66 passengers were on board the plane.
As for the cause of this disappearance, Egypt aviation minister Sherif Fathy suggested that terrorism may be more likely than any sort of technical failure.
"If you [analyze] the situation properly the possibility of having a terror attack is higher than the possibility of having a technical [problem]," he said.
Experts are being quoted throughout the media supporting the theory that a terrorist attack was likely the cause of the crash, while world leaders are not quick to speculate.

U.S. presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump have both weighed in on the prospect of this incident being terrorist-caused.
