It's time for The CW's Legends, speedsters, archers, and kryptonians to come together for one epic crossover.

Two years ago, Greg Berlanti's DC TV universe brought us Flarrow. This year, the two-night event threw a few burgeoning Legends into the mix. Now that Supergirl has landed amongst her comic book brethren, The CW has the makings of one truly unforgettable mash up.

"Next season, Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and now Supergirl will join forces in our annual crossover event, our biggest ever," Mark Pedowitz, The CW president, said on Thursday.

Supergirl started its run on CBS, which was an admitted coup for genra television. Putting the crime-fighting hero up against a slate of time-tested procedurals, however, left the girl of steel twisting. Now, that Kara Danvers (Melissa Benoist) has joined The CW, Pedowitz has said what we've all been thinking - it should have been there to begin with.

"We have a rough idea where they're heading [for season 2] and, because our working relationship with Greg [Berlanti], we're confident they understand what our needs are," Pedowitz told Entertainment Weekly. "As for the tone or tonality of the series, they did have a pretty successful series. The fact it's now moved to The CW, where it should have been in the first place, I don't think it will have a big impact on the tone."

Although crossover's wreck havoc with filming schedules, the respective casts are ready to buckle down.

"They're very fond of these crossovers, as difficult as they are to implement when you're actually doing them," Victor Garber (Firestorm) told TV Line with a laugh. "It causes a lot of confusion on a lot of different sets, but it's fabulous for the fans, and I'm sure it will continue. And now we have Supergirl coming to our neck of the woods, so that will be fun to have her in our midst."
