Kim Kardashian recently commented on the criticism she has received from her weight gain due to her pregnancy. While Kardashian called it "mean" and "not fair," her mother, Kris Jenner, however, thinks her daughter's weight gain is the perfect opportunity for her to cash in on it.

A friend of Kardashian's revealed that Jenner, 57, has been suggesting that the reality star secure a lucrative weight loss deal. The product would be used after she gives birth in July.

"She would get a percentage of any deal,  so she's pushing Kim hard to start signing contracts - baby shower photos, baby-bump pics, weight loss," a friend of Kardashian's told In Touch.

Another source, who has brokered celebrity weight loss deals, said Kardashian could garner a "multi-million dollar deal" because she is an international celebrity.

The industry insider added that Kardashian is intentionally eating whatever she wants during her pregnancy because she stands to make more money.

"She knows what she's doing by showing off her heavier figure," said the second insider. "The more she looks heavy and out of control with her eating, the more she will be worth. Everything Kim does is on purpose."

Kardashian and her sisters, Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian Odom, announced their endorsement deal with Quick Trim weight-loss brand in October. The company offer a shale and pill products and claimed to "jump start your metabolism" and "burn calories all day," through use of their products that were not approved by the FDA.

In March, 2012, QuickTrim and the Kardashian sisters were named in a $5 million lawsuit. The class action suit was filed by four people who said that the weight loss brand made false claims. The petition stated that they are seeking damages from QuickTrim and the Kardashians for marketing a weight loss product that is "false, misleading, and unsubstantiated."
