Brandi Maxiell had quite the exit from VH1’s Basketball Wives LA after her bold blowup with creator and executive producer Shaunie O’Neal caused her to possibly get fired. Well now, Maxiell has revealed whether she is returning for the show’s highly anticipated fifth season.

Maxiell first confirmed that despite O’Neal telling her she “no longer” needed her “services,” she was not let go.

Still, that doesn’t mean the drama has died by any means.

“You’ll have to see how everything plays out and we just finished filming,” she told Radar Online Monday. “But we definitely went back to bad moments.”

She said the ladies could not really settle the fallouts that occurred in season four.

“There were still bad feelings. It was really intense and difficult. I had a headache for about a month of filming.”

Still, it’s no secret that more drama makes for good TV. And Maxiell teased, “It’s really good.”

As for her spat with O’Neal, Maxiell made it clear she has “respect” for her, but her “Southern belle” background will not let her back down from the show runner.

“We aren’t too shy of how we feel and what we think,” she added. “You either love us or you hate us. We are big bright sunshine. So full of life. If you piss us off, we’re a whole other different person.”

Maxiell said this is what helped her become a fan favorite on the show even though her reactions were “not always good.”

She also gave a quick update on her and her husband, Jason, after the two went through counseling last season. She said they are separated right now, but she has not moved on.

As for her dream guy, she wants her husband “but a more faithful version.”
