What's about to go down following the frightening premiere episode of The Fosters?

On Tuesday, Carter Matt posted a synopsis of what's happening in the second episode of the fourth season after the school goes on lockdown. When Nick saw Mariana kissing Mat, he brings a gun to school, giving suspicion if he'll be using violence out of grief.

While the site didn't reveal if anyone gets hurt-- or killed-- it was mentioned that things will still be tense in the Adams Foster family. Everyone will stay together, but there are secrets lingering, which drives them apart as well.

There's also the matter of Callie telling her moms the truth about what happened with Brandon before they adopted her. And it appears that they still don't know how they're going to handle this. No one knows what Lena will be thinking, but Stef just wants everyone to stay off their phones and computers to avoid the rumors surrounding them.

Another storyline will involve Brandon helping Cortney move. While this seems harmless, this is going to lead to a dispute with Stef for some reason.

Executive producer Joanna Johnson previously spoke to TV Guide on how the first couple episodes of the fourth season will differ from other moments that have taken place on the Freeform drama.

"The first two episodes of the season a different look and a different feel," Johnson said. "We're trying to push the envelope of the vibe of our show. It's very intense and dramatic and I'm really proud of these episodes."

The producer also pointed out how the premiere episode relates to real-life occurrences that have happened regarding guns and school.

"It's really pretty harrowing," she said. "It's something that's happening so much it's almost becoming normal. It almost seems like a weekly occurrence that someone is taking a gun to school. We wanted to explore what the impact of this has on our schools and has on our kids."

The Fosters Season 4 premieres on Monday, June 20 at 8 p.m. ET on Freeform.
