Is Callie's biological father going to appear again on The Fosters?

The character Robert Quinn, played by Kerr Smith, has been pretty out of the loop ever since he signed his rights over to Stef and Lena to take care of Callie. But on Wednesday, Smith took to Twitter to say that he would definitely be happy if his character returned for a new episode.

This actually brought the attention of series creator Bradley Bredeweg who said that he's missing the actor and hopes to see him again soon.

While nothing is official at this point, perhaps, fans might want to be on the look-out for a potential appearance from Robert.

As for how other storylines will play out in the fourth season, Maia Mitchell (Callie) dished to TV Line on how the death of Jack will continue to affect everyone.

"Jude begins a spiritual journey a little bit and considers what happens after death. [He] is much more reflective and internally sad, whereas Callie is gung-ho about it," Mitchell said. "The moms [are] quite interested in how Pearson got another kid in the first place, and they discover that it was through privatization. So their main concern is for Callie and what she's endorsing and that she really understands the full weight of what she's publicly reforming."

The actress also mentioned something about the relationship between Callie and AJ, and how things aren't quite finished yet.

"You see her really try to mend that relationship, but that's not fully resolved," Mitchell revealed. "We're going to have to wait until Season 4 for that one."

The Fosters Season 4 premieres on Monday, June 20 on Freeform.
