Vikings Clive Standen is a busy, busy man who, unfortunately, can't be in two places at once.

The Brit is in high demand this year, pulling double duty on History Channel's Vikings and NBC's Taken. It's a demanding schedule that has the star bouncing between Ireland and Canada, but Standen (Rollo) isn't worried. From Norsemen to CIA operatives, this actors ready to tackle it all.

Well, almost all. From the sounds of it, Rollo will be conspicuous absent for the first 10 or so episodes of Viking's fifth season.

"I've got a happy problem at the moment where I'm in two shows," the Standen told Digital Spy. "I'm going to be doing Taken until October time and I'm going to pick up and re-join the Vikings team later on in season five. I'm going straight from Toronto back to Dublin, so it's a good problem to have!"

Vikings is currently in the midst of its season 4 midseason hiatus. Rollo, now stationed in Paris, will feature in the second half although it remains to be seen if the finale will set up his brief departure. With the plethora of storylines the Michael Hirst series has cooking, Vikings could easily just avoid the traitor's storyline in 2017.

For now, fans are wondering how Rollo will fare in the wake of the Lothbrok brothers' Parisian grudge match.

"We do see Rollo again, absolutely. He's too good to lose," series creator Michael Hirst told TV Insider. "Of course, it is true that the defeat in Paris did mark an ending. There's no doubt that that's the end of one part of the story, and it's the beginning of a new part of the story. But it's all part of the same saga. It's part of the saga of Ragnar and his sons, which is where I started from."
