Adele Covers Vogue for the First Time
After winning six Grammys last night, Adele has another accomplishment to celebrate -- she'll grace the cover of Vogue in March.
Vogue released next month's cover today with the 23-year-old dressed in a cleavage-baring Renaissance-esque top, signature winged eyeliner and huge hair. This is Adele's first Vogue cover.
In the interview, the British songstress opens up about nearly losing her voice and her new relationship with Simon Koneki.
"He's wonderful," she told Vogue. "And he's proud of me, but he don't care about what I do or what other people think. He looks after me. I don't think I would have gotten through the recovery for my surgery if it hadn't been for him."
After having throat surgery last November, the singer was put on vocal rest which she considers to be a blessing.
"I think I just needed to be silenced. And when you are silent, everyone else around you is silent. So the noise in my life just stopped," she said. "It was like I was floating in the sea for three weeks."
Adele has a lot to live up to after the success of her second album 21, but don't expect another record of heartbreaking love songs.
"If I am constantly working, my relationships fail," Adele revealed. "So at least now I can have enough time to write a happy record. And be in love and be happy. And then I don't know what I'll do. Get married. Have some kids. Plant a nice vegetable patch."
