The man who is said to be the future husband and father of Angela Simmons’ unborn child, Sutton Tennyson has a more intense criminal past than was first reported.

A woman who used to date Tennyson was granted a restraining order against him for “family violence,” Bossip reported Friday. The order, which was submitted back in November of 2006, was good for an entire year.

The woman said that she and Tennyson have fought one another physically. She added that he has vandalized her car and even sent her text messages in which he threatened to harm and kill her and her close ones. He is also said to have popped up at her home unannounced.
“He threatened my life and the lives of people I know,” the woman claimed.

She wanted Tennyson to be ordered to stay at least 200 yards away from her as well as get mental help such as “psychiatric and psychological services.”

Still, Tennyson had also filed an order of his own against one of his exes. That one dates back to Sept. 14, 2008.

He wrote, “Respondent took and hid my wallet, while intoxicated she flagged down police and gave a false report resulting in her being arrested. Also have received threatening text message, phone calls, and emails if I was not compliant with an ongoing relationship.”

It’s not clear if the order was against the same woman, but Tennyson later asked the judge to drop it.

Sutton made headlines after he was said to be the man who is engaged to Simmons. He has a criminal status of being a convicted felon after he was caught carrying a concealed weapon. He was also convicted of forgery and credit card theft.
