Yo Gotti has officially denounced his crush for reality TV star and fashionista Angela Simmons after she announced that she is engaged to a mystery man and is also expecting her first child.

Yo Gotti stopped by 106 KMEL’s Summer Jam recently and explained his current thoughts on Simmons.

He denied reports that he unfollowed Simmons on Instagram after her news made headlines. He pointed out that he got in on the fun.

“I thought it was funny. But I had actually unfollowed everybody a month before that,” he revealed.

He said he unfollowed everyone to focus on his new album and “get away from social media” and “focus on being greater.”

Yo Gotti made headlines after he expressed his crush on Simmons in his hit Down In The DM. He also professed his love for her during an appearance on The Real back in February.

“I feel like you a BB you’re a boss and a beauty so I need you on the team.”

He added, “I come from a culture in the street and I always liked the good girls. I always had something for the good girls. I’ve been in enough trouble myself.”

Simmons revealed her engagement just days after.

It’s still not confirmed who Simmons is getting ready to marry. But rumor has it that it is a man named Tennyson Sutton, who has a criminal past of his own.
