Ginger Zee may have only lost a few pounds while competing on Dancing With the Stars, but she says she's perfectly fine with that.

Zee competed on the most recent season of Dancing With the Stars and lasted through the entire season, ultimately coming in third place. After all that hard work, the Good Morning America meteorologist assumed she had lost several pounds, but this was not the case.

"I hadn't weighed myself all season, but I knew my clothes fit better. I thought I'd be 20 lbs. lighter," she said in a new People interview. "But I only weighed 2 lbs. less. That was it!"

While this may have been shocking and upsetting to some, Zee is taking it in stride.

"It made me feel better that all those years when I thought, 'If I just work out more, I'll lose weight,' I was wrong," Zee said. "Apparently I'm just supposed to be 138 lbs., and that's good."

Zee opened up about her weight issues during Dancing With the Stars, admitting that she battled anorexia as a young teenager.

"It's a moment in my life that I've not shared with a lot of people," she admitted at the time. "It's not something I'm proud of because it's a disease that I chose."

But now at 38, having gone through the birth of her son, Adrian Benjamin, in December and now a full season of Dancing With the Stars, she is confident in herself and her body.

"Having a baby and then going into this challenge was really empowering," she said. "I've found a pride in myself that I'd never had before."

Dancing WIth the Stars season 23 is set to air in the fall on ABC, in the regular Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT timeslot.
