One of America's Got Talent's most dangerous competitors opened up on moving onto the next round.

On Thursday, a video featuring Axel Perez was released that shows the 17-year-old and the stunt he did for the judges. His talent involved being able to balance several feet off the ground on things that were not very stable. As he just remained off the ground, it looked like he could fall at any minute, which made the judges cringe in their chairs.

Since Perez was able to pull this off, he received a yes from all four judges.

"It was an amazing experience to be out there on stage," Perez said. "While I was out there, I really had fun with the audience. I really made them feel like they were part of the show because they really are a part of the show."

Conveniently, the contestant was able to get judge Simon Cowell under his wing since they both apparently have similar personalities in the sense that they both know how to be arrogant.

"I guess Simon loved that," Perez said. "He told me that I had a bit of a cockiness personality."

Cowell previously dished to Us Weekly on joining the competition as a judge and how he's been a fan for some time now.

"I've been thinking about it for a while," he said. "We did actually talk about me doing the show a few years ago, and at the time I couldn't do it. But having been on the British show ever since it started, every time I used to turn up and watch America's Got Talent, there was a part of me that always thought, 'You know what? It would be a really fun show to do.'"

America's Got Talent airs on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
