Cheyenne Jackson has officially confirmed that he is returning for season 6 of FX's American Horror Story.

Jackson, who played Will Drake in American Horror Story: Hotel, is slated to have a role in season 6 as well.

The actor confirmed this in a new interview with Out.com, saying he's shooting the upcoming season now. While he admitted that "wild horses wouldn't make me reveal the plot" of season 6, he said it's "just different," adding the show itself is "different than anything I've ever done."

Jackson noted that American Horror Story is a bit of a departure from what he had previously been doing.

"It was a genre I wasn't a part of before. I was thought of as a comedy guy, with '30 Rock' and 'Glee'. It's been fun to be a part of this horror fantasy world," he said. "Sarah Paulson told me early on, 'Get ready for the passion and the fervor of "American Horror Story" fans.' It's intense.' I love how passionate, opinionated and into this world the fans are."

Jackson also delved into working with Lady Gaga, who the actor was already a huge fan of.

"I've seen Gaga live maybe five or six times, everything from big arena shows to jazz performances with Tony Bennett," he said. And now that he's working with her professionally, Gaga's "Little Monster" fanbase has started following him as well.

"I think, yeah," he said when asked if Little Monsters are "chasing" him now. "Because Gaga and I were married on the show, it's definitely got some Little Monsters love."

Details regarding the next season of American Horror Story have been few and far between. Some actors have confirmed their returns, like Angela Bassett and Matt Bomer, but the concept has yet to be officially revealed. This is incredibly rare considering the relatively early confirmations of previous season themes. It remains to be seen when the concept will be announced.

American Horror Story season 6 airs this fall on FX.
