The wives and girlfriends of E!’s WAGS have been battling since the show’s first season. And now that season two is underway, stars Natalie Halcro and Olivia Pierson have made it clear they are unbothered by the wives trying to take over.

“Laugh. Laugh. And laugh some more,” Halcro told Bossip Sunday when asked about the hierarchy of wives, fiancés and then girlfriends. “Women being ranked based on their marriage status? Is this the middle ages? I’ve been talked down to because I’m not tied to a man.”

Pierson also shared her thoughts.

“I think it is a bit silly to be honest. No one is ‘higher’ than me and certainly is not just because you are married. I laugh it off and it bugs people which is just fine.”

Still, Halcro revealed she takes her beef with the wives personally.

“I actually don’t think it’s single women they have a problem with I think it’s just us. They’ve used us being the ‘single girls’ as some kind of insult. But in reality, it’s us. We have fun. We’re not royalty.”

Pierson agreed and added, “I don’t necessarily think they have anything against ‘single girls’, I just think they can’t handle Natalie and I and our personalities.”

She said their goofy antics and not taking “ourselves too seriously” have rubbed the wives who are “the exact opposite” the wrong way.

They went on to shut down reports and speculation that they are “gold diggers.”

Halcro said, “What most people don’t know is that I pay for every part of my life. I pride myself on being independent and I take care of myself financially and emotionally.”

WAGS airs Sundays at 10/9c on E!
