Chris Brown Addresses Haters
R&B singer Chris Brown is catching some serious flack from fellow stars after winning the Grammy for Best R&B Album of the Year.
Here's part of a laundry list of tweets and comments from some non-fans who didn't think he deserved to be on stage, let alone take home any awards.
Country singer Miranda Lambert tweeted: "Chris Brown twice? I don't get it. He beat on a girl... "Not cool that we act like that didn't happen. He needs to be put back in his place. Not at the Grammys."
Modern Family's Eric Stonestreet was also not impressed, joking: "Are Chris Brown's mom and dad CBS and Grammy Brown?"
"Why wasn't Chris Brown fired from 'music' (public dancing) when he beat up that girl?" Ethan Suplee tweeted, "Dear 'thugs' and 'gangstas' of the hip-hop industry, how is it that none of you 'handled' Chris Brown? #thuglife #prisonrules #getsome."
Michelle Branch added fuel to the fire: "Trying not to go off on a rant but ... Chris Brown ... *bites tongue* have we forgiven him? #Grammys."
Jack Osbourne didn't hold back either: "Chris brown ... people don't forget! #chrisbrownbeatswomen" If Chris Brown had worn a wife beater, the irony would eclipse the whole show #chrisbrownbeatswomen."
And actor Wil Wheaton took the no-nonsense route: "Everyone who apparently forgot what Chris Brown did to Rihanna should read the police report on exactly what he did."
His response? A mature tweet to all the haters out there:
"HATE ALL U WANT BECUZ I GOT A GRAMMY Now! That's the ultimate F**K OFF."
Brown has since deleted the nasty tweet, but not before everyone who's anyone saw it.
