Khloe Kardashian still has trouble letting go of her estranged husband Lamar Odom even during a family trip to Cuba on E!’s Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

While Kardashian enjoys herself and the Cuban culture at first, she gets disturbing news about Odom that changes the vibe. She found out that he had asked for money during her trip. She told her best friend Malika Haqq that she was afraid he would use the money to run away, just as he used to do when they were married.

She pointed out that she is convinced he was waiting for her to go over to Cuba, a place where he knew she would not have access to her cell phone to check up on him. She added that she was nervous when they returned, he would be nowhere to be found.

Haqq encouraged her and reminded Kardashian she can only do so much when it comes to helping Odom.

“You can’t control him,” she said. “You wanna try to do the best, but, honey, if he wants to run himself back into the gutter, he’s gonna do just that.”
She added that it is possible Odom could cut off communication from everyone, not just Kardashian.


Kim Kardashian expressed her cousin for Khloe who is clearly invested in the issue.

“I wish she wouldn’t put that much weight of this whole situation on her shoulders. It just breaks my heart because it’s the same cycle all over again. It just really sucks.”
