In just a little over a month, Netflix will officially bring the cult-like followed TV series Arrested Development back to life when it launches its fourth season.

Netflix will be rolling out 15 new episodes of AD simultaneously, designed as a setup for a potential movie that has yet to be officially green lighted. Executive producer Mitchell Hurwitz recently spoke about the show's upcoming storyline to Entertainment Weekly, which rolled out three AD promotional covers for its May 3 issue.

"This year is about the enduring entanglements of family. They are 10 years older than when we met, so that means emotionally they're, like, two years older than when we met them. Amazing things happen when one goes from being emotionally 12 years old to being emotionally 14 years old."

Funny man Will Arnett, who plays the role of Gob, also gave his take on the plot behind the series.

"It's a story of shame, cunning, thievery, dishonor, backstabbing, deceit, bold-faced lying, one-upmanship, psychological torture, lust, financial ruin, and magic, all supported by a very broad beam of dysfunctional love," he said.

While the episodes will undoubtedly be the same as the quality of old, they'll be shot in a different manner. Arrested Development producers were forced to work around the rigorous schedules of the busy actors. Each episode will be highlighting a certain member of the Bluth family over the past seven years, with several other cast members making appearances as well.

The series' fourth season is set to premiere on Netflix on May 26. Keep checking back for the latest AD details.
