The Justice society of America is slowly coming together on the set of Legends of Tomorrow.

Hourman's (Patrick J. Adams) finale appearance harbingered the debut of the 1940s superteam, and before you know it, Rip Hunter's (Arthur Darvill) will be face to face with Doctor Mid-Nite, Stargirl, Obsidian, Commander Steel (Matthew MacCaull), and an older iteration of Vixen (Maisie Richardson-Sellers). Casting is still underway for two of the League's legendary lineup, but, as of Monday, Stargirl will be played by a young actress just securing her foothold in the Vancouver film industry.

Sarah Grey of Wayward Pines, iZombie, and 2017's Power Rangers will take on the role, according to IGN.

The announcement comes right in the nick of time, too. The Legends cast began filming episode in mid-July, and, based on photos from executive producer Marc Guggenheim, the JSA will hit the screen in full force for episode 2, appropriately titled "The Justice Society of America."

Guggenheim even tweeted out a photo of the squad's HQ...

The powers that be are staying fairly tightlipped about the Legends and the JSA's season 2 plans, but executive Phil Klemmer did drop a few teasers at San Diego Comic-Con.

"Even heroes have heroes. For us, the JSA is the golden age generation of superheroes, and for our team it's kind of like a bunch of modern people meeting that Greatest Generation," Klemmer explained. "If ours is a family, it's like getting to meet your grandfather's - and maybe grandmother's - and realizing that they were real superheroes."
