Put on you're thinking caps, NCIS: Los Angeles fans. The CBS drama is heading into Bobby Fischer territory with season 8's latest episode titles.

The search for the mole will power the premiere and the subsequent hour, but we know little about what will happen once Hetty's (Linda Hunt) team returns from Syria. Luckily, fans can begin speculating thanks to two new episode titles.

Filmed last week, episode 3 is titled "The Queen's Gambit." Currently in front of the cameras, episode 4 is titled "Black Market."

Actress Daniela Ruah (Kensi) left for maternity leave ahead of episode 3, but, after filming all her scenes in early July, Kensi will still appear in every season 8 episode.

"The way they've written the scenes I [will have] shot most of it before birth, a couple of weeks [after I give birth] I will be back to shoot a couple of scenes within that storyline," Ruah told TV Over Mind. "You won't even notice that I've been gone, I'll be in every episode."

The special agent won't be in the field, however, and Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) will need a new partner in the meantime.

"I don't know who they're going to partner me up with while all this stuff is happening," Olsen said at San Diego Comic-Con last month.

The obvious choice would be Nell, particularly considering the intelligence analyst hopped into the field last time Kensi was out of the picture. Alternately, writers could choose this opportunity to capitalize on the personality differences between Deeks and Callen (Chris O'Donnell).

"That a relationship that fans really want to see because they're such different kind of humans, which I think is worth exploring. I think it's great," Olsen mused. "We had a couple of scenes together in the car that I thought really worked."
