They've only been in jail for one night out of 60, and already, the newest undercover inmates on 60 Days In are realizing that their situations are extremely dire.

Quintin, Brian, Ryan, Chris, Dion, Monalisa, Ashleigh and Sheri all went undercover for phase two of Sheriff Jamey Noel's operation to discover the problems inside his jail so they can be properly addressed and fixed, and it isn't taking long for everyone to see just what problems are prevalent inside the jail.

"My first night, I wake up to a bunch of people doing drugs," Ashleigh says in a preview clip for the Thursday, August 25 episode.

The situation they're facing may be more than any of them bargained for or even thought they were going to experience as they see the way the inmates act as they wander through their pods.

"You see the cages and the animals," Quintin says. "What the hell is going on here?"

Monalisa also sees that things aren't going to be easy for her, because everyone wants to know everything about her, especially if they're trying to figure out if she's undercover.

"This place is not a joke," she says.

However, Sheri may wind up being the most surprised inmate of all as she quickly begins to witness fights breaking out around her, and worries about her own status in the jail since many of the inmates have already convinced themselves that she has a stash of drugs somewhere, and she will start to break down about the things she is witnessing.

"I expected a couple of fights, but I didn't expect them to last 20 minutes," she cries in the clip. "Oh My God, it sucks."

60 Days In airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on A&E.
