Nike has revealed that the biggest shoe ever made was for an elephant with one leg shorter than its other legs.

The huge custom-made shoe was tweeted by Nike’s PR Director Heidi Burgett. The shoe is a greyish color and has laces and buckle at the back. It was specifically designed to blend in with its other feet.

However, the shoe looks like its had better days, as it looks pretty worn out.

Burgett also informed fans that the scraps of pink fabric are “what’s left of the beat-up swoosh.”

There is no further information on why the shoe was made or where the elephant that wore it is at now.
Meanwhile, Nike’s most expensive shoe – the Lebron X Basketball sneakers - comes to a whopping $315 for a pair.

The company raised all their shoes and clothing prices by 5 to 10 percent last year in light of increasing costs of labor, materials and shipping.

James is not the first basketball star to have sneakers named after him. Perhaps the first and the most famous ones were inspired by legendary player Michael Jordan. Air Jordans are still popular today even though the athlete himself has not played on the court since his final retirement in 2003.
