MTV's Hottest MCs in the Game list is out, and Rick Ross rules.

Ross says he's honored to be in the top spot and told MTV News, "It's something I've been watching, something I've been a fan of forever. Of course, MTV, they run the game. MMG, we're here. Shout-out to the whole team."

The hot list criteria takes into account impact, buzz, sales, lyrics, swag and intangibles.

The names were revealed on MTV 2 yesterday. Here's the list:
