Spencer Hastings/Drake is who she (or we) thought she was. The budding politico certainly has skeletons in her closet, but she never imagined her own identity would be one of them.

Mary Drake dropped the mother of all reveals as Spencer (Troian Bellisario) lay in a pool of blood on Tuesday, and the news of the Liar's adoption has fans wondering what else they don't know about Bellisario's character. Is Peter really her father? Is Jason her half-brother, her cousin, or both? Is she Charlotte's sister or half-sister?

Luckily for viewers (and Spencer), Pretty Little Liars' final season will provide all the answers.

"We will find out who Charlotte's father is, and we will find out how Spencer came to be," showrunner Marlene King told TV Line, tipping her hat to Sara Shepard's books with Spencer's adoption storyline.

For now, however, fans will have to content themselves with Bellisario's hopes for Spencer's future. Aria (Lucy Hale), Hanna (Ashley Benson), Alison (Sasha Pieterse), Emily (Shay Mitchell), and Spencer will presumably scramble out of A/A.D.'s shadow this spring, and should the Liars escape with their lives, the cast hopes happiness will finally come their way.

"Not being blackmailed by some anonymous [person]," Bellisario joked while detailing her dreams for Spencer's future. "I don't know what it means in terms of her romantic life. I hope that she has a job somewhere because I know that she got fired. I hope that she just gets to have a normal life. I don't know if that's with somebody else, with an ex-boyfriend, with a new love, I don't know if that's on her own. I hope that she gets a good job and a good chance at having a normal life."
