NCIS: Los Angeles' Deeks is ring shopping...in his own unique way.

Eric Christian Olsen's character will pop the question this fall, giving Densi fans a chance to see Deeks and Kensi (Daniela Ruah) start down their journey down the aisle. We don't know exactly when the shaggy-haired detective is planning on dropping to one knee, but a sneak peek for the season 8 premiere gives fans a first look at Kensi's impressive new ring.

Being a detective doesn't come with the biggest paycheck, but Deeks is determined to get his girl something special. All those years on the force hooked the cop up with a few shady connections, however. While not overtly illicit, Deeks' pals can give the romantic a steep discount.

The perfect ring or not, Densi is meant to thrive. Seeing how nothing about the pair is strictly conventional (how could it be when they fight side-by-side every day of the year?), and the next stage of their relationship will be just as unique as the beginning.

"[You can expect an] engagement for Kensi and Deeks, but not in a traditional sense of the word," Olsen teased at San Diego Comic-Con, according to TV Line. "This is probably the crazies season for these two characters that we've ever done."
