Former "Gossip Girl" star Blake Lively who is regarded as a fashion icon, did not disappoint at tonight's MET Gala 2013 when she arrived in a stunning Gucci gown to Fashion's biggest night in New York City.

The 25-year-old actress, who married Ryan Reynolds, was touted as one of the best dressed of the night, according to People magazine. She wore a dramatic strapless gown with a long black train that gave the impression of feathers.

She complimented her look with Christian Louboutin shoes and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.

Lively is the face of the Gucci Premiere women's fragrance.

Among the celebrities that attended the gala tonight were Beyonce who wore a Givenchy gown, Alicia Keys who wore Jason Wu, Katy Perry in a Dolce and Gabbana gown, Blake Lively in Gucci, Anne Hathaway in Valentino, Jennifer Lawrence in Dior, Gwyneth Paltrow in Valentino, Kerry Washington in Vera Wang, Kim Kardashian in Givenchy, Taylor Swift in J Mendel, Miley Cyrus in Marc Jacobs and Nicki Minaj in Tommy Hilfiger.
