Jamie Dornan is more than happy to not have tabloids constantly delving into his love life.

Dornan has mostly avoided the constant chatter of tabloids speculating on his romantic escapades, thanks to his healthy relationship with wife Amelia Warner and two kids. The actor admitted in a new interview with Marie Claire UK that he's happy about not being single and staying off social media.

"Absolutely delighted," he said, when asked if he's happy he's single. "But, saying that, people like to go after your family and s- as well. It's one of the main reasons I left social media. They say horrific things about your loved ones, and so it opens up fast... but yes, the idea of being single makes me instantly sweat."

Dornan has also played some very dark roles over the past few years, from the sexually sadistic Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey film franchise to serial killer Paul Spector in The Fall, but his family helps him come out of such dark depths.

"The kids are a great way of breaking you out of whatever. You have no choice but to enter their world when you get home," he admitted.

"I want to be a very hands-on father and I have been so far with both of my children," he continued. "At times, I've been very frustrated that I've had to work so soon after my wife going through that [childbirth], because you want to be there as much as you can."

You can see Dornan now in the new movie Anthropoid as well as two other movies, The 9th Life of Louis Drax and The Siege of Jadotville. The third season of The Fall is premiering on Netflix in October.

Fifty Shades Darker is scheduled for release in theaters on Feb. 11, 2017 while Fifty Shades Freed will be released Feb. 10, 2018.
