Maks Chmerkovskiy will be going back into Dancing With the Stars retirement after this season.

Chmerkovskiy returned as a pro on Dancing With the Stars for this 23rd season, over two years after he finally won his first Mirrorball trophy, with his season 18 celebrity partner Meryl Davis. Now, he may be having a good time with his new partner, model Amber Rose, but he has no intention of coming back for season 24 in the spring.

"Honestly I feel like going on the record and saying two things," he told Bravo's The Daily Dish recently. "First of all, like I've already said, I'm having the best time of my life on 'Dancing with the Stars'. It's a known fact. I've said it. I was quoted as saying the production is on point. I feel the love. I feel like everybody's so friendly [and] we all work for the same goal, [which] is to keep dancing in television and produce a beautiful show. Having said that, I'm telling you right now I have zero interest in coming back as a dancer [next season]."

The pro previously admitted to us before this season that he was done with Dancing With the Stars, but it seems like he means it this time. Chmerkovskiy is looking forward to the birth of his first child, with fiancee Peta Murgatroyd, plus their impending wedding.

"I'm going to have a newborn baby. I have zero want to do this. I promise you that," he noted. "It's been it for me two years ago. I never thought I'd be back here in this position. I'm glad I am. I promise, I'm so glad that I made this decision.

"But like I said [I'm] looking forward. The baby comes in January and then a month-and-a-half later I would have to be in L.A. to start training with somebody else. Trust me, I really don't care how this comes across, but there's no money on the planet that can replace me missing out the three, four, five months of my baby's life. Zero chance. I can't wait for all of this, diapers, and all of this stuff. I cant wait for Peta to pursue her goals and whatever and I just want to be a stay-at-home dad."

Chmerkovskiy has competed in 15 seasons of Dancing With the Stars, winning with Davis and finishing in the finals with Laila Ali in season 4, Melanie Brown in season 5, Erin Andrews in season 10 and Kirstie Alley in season 12.

Dancing With the Stars airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
