The highly anticipated TV movie Killing Reagan is set to air tonight on NatGeo - here's how to watch it live online.

Killing Reagan is the latest TV movie adaptation from the Bill O'Reilly series of books, which includes Killing Lincoln, Killing Kennedy, Killing Jesus and Killing Patton.

"'Killing Reagan' explores the events surrounding the assassination attempt on president Ronald Reagan by John Hinckley Jr.," the NatGeo synopsis reads. "Based on the best-selling book, the film begins in the final months leading up to the 1980 presidential election, and explores the challenges Reagan faced to define himself as a leader. Meanwhile, an aimless and deranged Hinckley is unraveling, leading to the fateful day in March 1981 when these disparate figures collided."

Tim Matheson plays Ronald Reagan in the film, while Cynthia Nixon playing Nancy Reagan. Other co-stars include Joe Chrest as Jerry Parr, Joel Murray as Edwin Meese, Kyle S. More as John Hinckley Jr. and Michael H. Cole as James Brady.

Matheson spoke about playing President Reagan in a new People interview.

"I think the trap for me in a part like that is to do an impression and try and do a caricature, so I was mindful of that and I wanted to be presidential and be Reagan-esque, but I also wanted to find out what was really going on. And our story was more about Ronnie and Nancy," he said.

Killing Reagan will air at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NatGeo. If you do not have cable television or your cable provider doesn't carry NatGeo, don't worry.
