They haven't even publicly stated that they are engaged and planning to marry, but rumors continue to fly about Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, though it appears the latest, which claim the pair are fighting over a prenup, aren't true.

Gossip Cop has revealed that a report which originated in Life & Style, claiming the two were engaged in "tense prenup talks" are not true.

"They're madly in love. But before they make things official, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are dealing with a thorny issue: money," the report said, adding that they have been "busy hammering out a prenup," which isn't going so well.

"The whole process is causing lots of stress," a source told the magazine. "Blake is more laid-back about it. He would give Gwen whatever she wants and would happily get married without a prenup. But [Gwen] is taking the document very seriously."

Stefani is reportedly feeling like it needs to be taken seriously because of her divorce from Gavin Rossdale.

"It makes her sick whenever she thinks about it. She just can't afford not to have a prenup...Gwen has worked too hard to get where she is to not have one," the source continued."

However, sources told Gossip Cop that the story was not true, and even called it "dumb."

The report also claimed that the couple would be announcing their engagement before the end of the year, which could put to rest the story that they are planning a Christmas wedding, something neither one has confirmed or denied.

Of course if the prenup story is truly a fake one, then it does call into question just how much any reports about the pair getting married are true. While Stefani and Shelton themselves have virtually ignored all of the stories about them and not commented, if they aren't arguing over prenup details, it could mean they are either planning a wedding and have no issues with a prenup, or it could mean they aren't planning a wedding at all.
