CBS has finally answered the collective requests of viewers to have more of The Big Bang Theory, but this time with a twist. Sheldon will have the spotlight of his own, just what he prefers to during funny banters with Leonard, Raj, and Howard. It may be lonely without his three other friends, but this is like a time machine they once had in an earlier season.

Although CBS and WBTV had no comment on this acquired information, sources have revealed of a brewing process for a Big Bang Theory spin-off, all recently reported by Variety. Apparently, a script deal is on its way to finalities and the masters would still be Chuck Lorre and "Big Bang" showrunner Steve Molaro. "Big Bang" co-creator/exec producer Bill Prady is likely to be on board as an exec producer as well.

The plot which the writer does on an episode by episode planning will focus on a 12-year-old Sheldon, which most likely shows without his geek friends. Although Laurie Metcalf will most likely to be there as Mary Cooper, Sheldon's mother, like in the rest of the original series had, his three guy friends will not be there since they have only met during their adult life. The prequel, as Screen Rant reports will focus on Sheldon's childhood, his family and his amazing high IQ, which separates him from other 'normal' kids his age.

With the success and high viewer's ratings for The Big Bang Theory, Warner Bros. TV and CBS are really looking for ways to extend or renew the show in order to satisfy its fans. Having an average of 18.15 million viewers per episode, the show credits it to the cast consisting of Jim Parsons, Johnny Galeck, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar, Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch. Although, the cast was not expecting any spin-offs during a recent interview, here's to hoping that this development will run alongside its original show.
