Fox is mere hours away from airing its highly anticipated Season 2 finale of its hit TV series New Girl, which was apparently written to impress, especially since singer Taylor Swift will be guest starring.

According to Carter Matt, Swift will be coming aboard for Elaine's Big Day to don the role of Elaine, a guest who shows up for Cece (Hannah Simone) and Shivrang's (Satya Bhabha) wedding.

In the last installment of the season, Cece is set to get the traditional Indian wedding ceremony that she's been dreaming of. However, while the prospect of getting married seems ideal on the surface, Cece tying the knot with a groom that she hardly knows isn't exactly guaranteed. To add to the potential dilemma, she still appears to have feelings for Schmidt (Max Greenfield).

The Season 2 finale will also feature a resolution between the Nick (Jake Johnson) and Jess (Zooey Deschanel) storyline that has continued throughout the past few shows.

Interestingly enough, the site also reported that they'll be some type of animal attack that will happen.

Fox's New Girl is set to air on Tuesday, May 14 at 9/8 p.m. Central.  Keep checking back for more of the latest details on the hit show.
