"People wanted to kill me" - this is what Prince Harry's girlfriend Meghan Markle has revealed during her brief interview with Piers Morgan in Good Morning Britain, a British breakfast programme broadcast on ITV.
The "Suits" actress was speaking to Piers in a London pub after spending a day in the Royal Box at Wimbledon.
Markle is playing Rachel Zane in Suits. The actress revealed that she received "death threats" after her character Rachel Zane in Suits cheated on her boyfriend Mike Ross, OK! reports. She told that she revived many hate messages. Really? Later she added that it is unpleasant and I never knew that there were several emojis with guns and knives.
"During her one and half hour conversation with Piers, Meghan opened up about her mixed race background, she said, "My dad's Caucasian, my mother's African-American, so I'm half-white, half-black .I learned to embrace being a mixed-race woman." Mail Online reports.
Recently, Prince Harry, 32 years has confirmed that he is in relationship with American actress Meghan Markle - a 35-year-old divorcee from LA several months but both have not been seen in public together till now.
Prince Harry is concerned about Meghan's safety. Last week, Britain's Prince has hit out at the "abuse and harassment" Meghan has endured that includes many "sexism and racist comments" from "social media trolls and web articles." He has been single since his last relationship with Cressida Bonas, an English actress, dancer and model, ended after two years in 2014.
Harry and Meghan reportedly met in London in June when his friend, New York fashion designer Misha Nonoo, introduced them.
LA born Meghan has married long-term boyfriend, film producer Trevor Engelson in Jamaica five years ago, but the couple split in 2014. The beauty that was linked to golfer Rory McIlroy in 2014 is settled in Toronto because Suits is filmed there.
