In Episode 6 of "Secrets and Lies" Season 2, Eric (Michael Ealy) met someone from Kate's (Jordana Brewster) past. He also learned that Kate's mother is still alive and discovered the real father of Kate's child.

In Episode 7, International Business Times reported that Eric and his father John (Terry O'Quinn) tried to resolve their differences as their family is facing another problem as Patrick's (Charlie Barnett) own secrets have come to hurt their family. Meanwhile, Detective Cornell (Juliette Lewis) also dealt with issues of her own as she and her ex-husband Ethan (Jake Weber) deal with the guilt for what happened to their daughter Jennifer (Cole Bernstein). 

For Episode 8, which will air during the last week of this month, viewers will learn more and more secrets that will lead to Kate's real killer. Viewers will need to wait for two weeks before to get more answers as ABC will air the American Music Awards next week.

In the official synopsis for "Secrets and Lies" Season 2 Episode 8 as posted in CarterMatt, Eric will be surprised how fast everything falls around him. The secrets surrounding the mysterious house at 8686 Mint Hill Drive will also be revealed in the upcoming episode. It was said that these secrets will force Eric to make drastic decisions in order to prevent the imminent demise that is coming to his family and their company.

On the other hand, it seems like Detective Cornell is getting closer in figuring out Kate's killer. Eric asks Danny's (Kenny Johnson) help in order to unlock Kate's iPad in search for more answers. It was reported that Eric will discover answers that will shock him and lead to the very last person he expects to be connected to his wife.

"Secrets and Lies" Season 2 Episode 8 titled "The Racket" will air on ABC on Nov. 27.
