The 50 Shades of Grey chatter continues to heat up as another potential suitor for the role of Christian Grey has come up in Spring Breakers actor James Franco.

While there have been a plethora of household names brought up on the regular to don the role of the S&M-crazed CEO, Franco is somebody that hasn't been mentioned that often.

Although Franco, 35 is considerably older than the 27-year-old Grey character, he does have an ample amount of sexual experience on the big screen throughout the years.  He even recently played Hugh Hefner alongside Amanda Seyfried in the porn biopic Lovelace.

In his personal life, Franco was reportedly seen flirting with Game of Thrones Emilia Clarke, who is an Anastasia Steele candidate.  Perez Hilton reported that the two celebrities were seen getting chummy in New York City's Randall's Island over the weekend.

The sexually explicit 50 Shades premise revolves around a recent college graduate Anastasia, who gets herself caught up in a dominant and submissive sexual relationship with Grey, through an agreement, as both explore the world of bondage, dominance, submission and masochism.

Although the producers have yet to officially attach a director to the franchise, the film is slated for its big screen release in summer of 2014, and will be shot in London.
