The new trailer for the final season of "Bones" was just released and it may hint on the possible endings of the show's final season. Is someone going to die?

By the end of "Bones" Season 11 Booth (David Boreanaz) discovered that his wife Brennan (Emily Deschanel) was kidnapped by a serial killer and a former intern, Zack Addy (Eric Millegan). It was revealed that Zack may be the infamous serial killer, The Puppeteer, however, the previous season did not provide more details about his identity.

International Business Times reported that the new trailer for "Bones" Season 12 reveals Booth so angry that his wife is missing and may be in danger in the hands of an alleged serial killer. In the video, Booth's rage is evident as he thinks that Zack will kill Brennan. With that, he vows to get her back in one piece.

On the other hand, the short trailer also served as a trip down some of the highlights of the show. It added some of the best moments from the past seasons of "Bones" which led to the final moments of Season 12. The trailer also shows Zack talking to Brennan, telling her that they have a lot to talk about.

It was earlier reported that "Bones" Season 12 might have a happy ending, but the process of getting there surely won't be easy. GameNGuide reported that it was confirmed that Cam (Tamara Taylor) and Arastoo's (Pej Vahdat) wedding will finally push through in the show's final season.

A lot of characters are also set to return to the show including Dr. Beth Mayer (Betty White), Chef Gordon Wyatt (Stephen Fry) and Eddie McClintock (Sully). The show will also feature some new characters as Ed Asner and Hal Hoolbrook will appear in guest roles.

"Bones" Season 12 is scheduled to premiere on January 3, 2017 on Fox.
