Jason Collins' twin brother Jarron Collins wants the world to know he is straight, and not gay.

Both brothers appeared on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show on Wednesday, in which Jarron revealed that since Jason's big announcement, he's been getting asked by other men if he is Jason.

Jarron recalled a recent time when he was a bathroom in an airport and someone asked him if he was his brother.

"I was traveling and I was literally at the urinal, nobody wants to have a conversation at the urinal, and I look over and someone's like 'Jason?' And 'I'm like no, that's the other one'" Jarron said.

The Daily Mail reported that Kimmel presented Jarron with a shirt that read, "I'm the straight one," to clear up confusion between the sexual preferences of the brothers.

"It'll save me a lot of time," Jarron said.

After the show, the former NBA player took to his Twitter account to express his appreciation and thanked Kimmel for the shirt.

"Thanks to @jimmykimmel for the tshirt parting gift....this ought to clear things up," he posted on May 15.

Jarron told Yahoo! Sports last week that many fans have mistaken him for being Jason, and has been called the wrong names about 10 times at the airport.

"I get people looking at me, especially kids, teenagers,"Jarron said. "They look at me and they do the double-take."

"They look at their smart phones and double-check for a profile pic. But I would say that the interaction in public has been supportive. It's, 'Hey are you Jason?" 'No, I'm Jarron.' 'I just love what your brother did," sort of thing."

Both brothers played basketball together at Stanford University before playing in the NBA. Jason discussed how he broke the news to Jarron after so many years.

"He's my best friend and any time you come out to someone, you always have that apprehension that they're going to reject, even though I knew that that wasn't going to be the case," Jason said.
