She's struggled for nearly a year and seemed ready to move on with her life months ago, but as the holidays approach, Nicole (Arianne Zucker) will finally decide to close the chapter of her life that was devoted to Daniel and truly begin to move on with Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) on Days of Our Lives.

After another dream with Daniel in it, Nicole will realize she needs to let go of the fiance she lost if she has any hope of a romantic future elsewhere again, like the one she has been somewhat building with Deimos for a few months. And though truly saying goodbye to him will be one of the most difficult things she has had to do in her life, Nicole will know she is making the right call, and will go through with making the moves she needs to so she can start fresh.

However, as she plans this, things could be going on that she doesn't know about which will drag her right back to the place she's been where Daniel is concerned. Deimos has learned that there is a chance the baby Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) is carrying is actually Nicole's with Daniel, and an embryo was implanted in her. Chloe has since disappeared from town without so much as a word goodbye, but it isn't stopping Deimos from trying to get to the bottom of the mystery, in the hopes he can go to N icole with the good news that she will finally be a mother herself.

But, as much as he wants to alert Nicole before he gets confirmation of the truth for himself, Deimos has been warned not to be so cavalier with the possibility of the reveal by Brady (Eric Martsolf), who caught him during his inquisition with Phillip (John Paul Lavoisier), and wants to make sure Nicole doesn't get her hopes up if the truth is that the baby is not hers, and is genuinely Chloe's child.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
