Brad Pitt may be alone on Christmas.

Although the 53-year-old actor has six kids with his estranged wife, Angelina Jolie, the couple is currently involved in a nasty custody battle, during which Jolie was granted with full physical custody of the children.

For the past few months, Pitt has been unable to see his children without a monitor present to supervise the visits, and his time with his kids has been extremely limited. And when it comes to the future, Pitt may not be able to do a thing when it comes to seeing his kids, Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 8.

“Brad Pitt can go to court to ask for an emergency order to see his children over the holiday but chances are that will not work. The question will be is it an exigent or pressing circumstance and the answer to that is, probably not. Courts don’t generally grant visitation orders in situations like this so if Angelina Jolie wants to be a difficult and keep the kids from Brad over Christmas, there is not much Brad or a judge can do to stop her,” divorce attorney David Pisarra explained to Hollywood Life on Friday. “A judge could order it but that would be extremely unlikely."

Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt on Sept. 19 and requested she be given full physical custody of their children.
