The CW's superhero fiction mystery drama television series, Arrow, comes back with a brand new episode this coming January next year. Loyal fans and followers of the show could not wait any longer especially now that the new promo for the upcoming episode has been officially released.

According to Amazon, the new trailer for episode 10 contained scenes that can probably put the viewers on the edges of their seats once again. Major revelations are coming and this is just the start of the series' second part of the fifth season.

A report suggested that fans are going to get some questions answered because the previous episode 9, with the title "What We leave Behind", left them with cliffhanger scenes. The source reported that the new promo released by the network had hinted scenes that tell the viewers how the upcoming episode would go.

It can be recalled that Laurel Lance, portrayed by actress Katie Cassidy appeared in the first half of Arrow season five as the Black Canary that viewers love and adore. But basing on the new trailer, Laurel might not be the real character that fans have supported before.

Reportedly, Laurel's real identity will be revealed in the upcoming tenth episode. According to iDigital Times, the return of the character is not the usual comeback that fans usually see. Apparently, she turned out to be disguising herself and hiding that she is the Black Siren after all.

In the latest promo, Oliver Jonas 'Ollie' Queen, played by Stephen Amell, had been thinking that the Laurel he sees is Earth-1 Laurel but he had found out that she was actually a metahuman. This means that she's not the Laurel he thinks she is and the Black Canary is only her version from her intrinsic ability, which could further explain why she might be the Black Siren.

Fans have been ssuming that this is just part of the twist the series is going to give them in the remaining episodes of the fifth season. Indeed, there will be a lot of revelations which they will surely look forward to.

Arrow Season 5 episode 10, entitled "Who Are You?", is set to air on January 25, 2017 on The CW.
