Since the Kevin Spacey-lead series started, it has been often released in between late January to early February. In fact, it was even dropped on the exact Valentine's Day. However, there is no official announcement about it yet, thus some believe it will be released in late February or early March.

Netflix too has been giving lots of information about its upcoming shows but this time, it is being mum about House of Cards Season 5, according to a report from Yahoo!. The network is also known for being secretive and surprising its fans for instantly revealing their programs' launch a few days before it starts. Hence, it might spill the beans when the show is about to begin.

Although the show's release date is still a secret, its cast and stars are often revealed. It has been said that new faces are gracing House of Cards Season 5, and some will be friends while others will be Frank's (Spacey) foe. Patricia Clarkson and Campbell Scott are expected to appear, but their respective roles are still being kept in the dark, Den of Geek reported.

Furthermore, House of Cards Season 5's storyline is also under wraps. Nothing is confirmed yet about its plot, but thanks to Michael Kelly, who plays the role of Doug Stamper, for teasing what in store in the show.

The 48-year-old Everest actor revealed that there is someone who's going to die in House of Cards Season 5 with some saying that that would be Frank. "You lose characters that you love. We almost lost Frank, and I always have faith in the writers that no matter what road we go down, we're going to come back to what the show is," he said.
