Actor David Harbour, who portrays chief of Hawkins Police department Jim Hopper, had said an inspirational speech which many speculate had to send out some political meaning on it.

Actors Sean Astin and Paul Weiser, are reportedly going to be joining the cast. Astin is set to play the character, Bob Newby, and Weiser is going to be portraying a character named Owens.
