NBC's family comedy-drama television series, "This Is Us", is already on its eleventh episode for season 1 which is set to be aired next week. Picking up from where the series left last week, fans are excited about what the future holds for Kevin Pearson and the dramatic events surrounding him.

The previous episode for "This Is Us" featured Kevin Pearson (Justin Hartley) getting an advice from his friend and his sister Kate's (Chrissy Metz) boyfriend, Toby Damon (Chris Sullivan), saying that Kevin should go to the woman he really loves. It can be recalled that the character has a love dilemma on the series between Sloane Sandburg (Milana Vayntrub) and Olivia Maine (Janet Montgomery).

However, when he was asked by Toby to picture himself with anyone from the two ladies to help him choose the woman of his life, he instead got an image on his mind, of his ex-wife and childhood sweetheart Sophia (Alexandra Breckenridge). The following scenarios shown on the previous episode of "This Is Us" showed Kevin visiting his ex-wife whom he found out also wanted him back.

On an interview with Entertainment Weekly, actor Justin Hartley talks about his character, Kevin, and his romantic dilemma which made him choose his former wife instead. On the interview with the publication, Hartley confessed that he loved the "This Is Us" writers' decision to get his character close to a woman whom he had been in love for so long.

The actor said that the scenario made him know where Kevin really is. Fans have known the "This Is Us" character as someone who gets along with a handful of women but the scenario depicted Kevin's real emotions which was showed when he decided to give her and Sophia's love a second chance.

Aside from this, also reported on Yahoo TV, was "This Is Us" creator and executive producer Dan Fogelman to have revealed possible hints for the most-awaited season finale. According to the producer, the finale episode may have something to do with Kevin's father, Jack Pearson's (Milo Ventimiglia) death.

Fogelman added that fans and viewers might expect some heavy scenes when the series approaches close to "This Is Us" season finale. He reportedly already finished writing the episode so fans should be watching out for it.

"This Is Us" season 1 returns on February 7, 2017 on NBC.
