"Suits" Season 6 experienced a dip in ratings last week and though Season 7 is confirmed, doubts loom over the future of the legal drama. However, the actors of the show are hopeful and want it to continue even after Season 7.

Sarah Rafferty and Rick Hoffman, who play Donna and Louis respectively on "Suits" Season 6, want to continue as long as they can, news.com.au reported. Hoffman revealed that he could do the show for a very long time. Reminiscing about the time when he was unemployed and struggling, he said that when one is an actor, one barely gets the chance to work half the time.

Also, sometimes people forget that they had to struggle and that was a lottery ticket that they won to get the job. Hoffman remembers the struggle every day and so does his co-star from "Suits" Season 6. Rafferty said that she has told "Suits" creator that the day the show is done, she is going to miss Donna. She feels that her character is a really good friend of hers.

Well, the attachment of actors is understandable but "Suits" has been facing rumors of cancellation. The silver lining is that it has outperformed other programs of the network including the famous "Colony," Forbes has learned. Still, nothing is certain and the way things are moving on "Suits" Season 6, the coming four episodes will be instrumental in determining the future of the legal drama.

Notably, "Suits" is known to have a way when it comes to playing with the aftermath of the conclusion of the main arc. As of now, in "Suits" Season 6 Mike is not in touch with the proceedings at the firm and thus, it looks like the show could be prepping to move towards the end. The rumors of cancellation could be true but viewers also need to remember that the show writers know how to turn the tables.

So, till Universal Channel makes an official announcement, it makes sense to move along the current proceedings on "Suits" Season 6 and just hope that Sarah Rafferty and Rick Hoffman get to act in more seasons. After all, everyone likes to watch the dynamic duo on screen.
